Happy Weekend

Kenta wishes everyone a great weekend. And he’s gonna keep a close up eye on you all to make sure you do.
 

Food Sharing

Norma is eating more than ever before, which isn’t saying much. But the last meal of a day is wet food. She loves the wet food. She finishes first and then helps herself to what’s left of Alias’ meal. He doesn’t protest but rather he goes over and helps himself to what’s left of Kenta’s meal. I find it interesting Alias doesn’t fight his sister for the food but rather knows Kenta will let him eat his food. I think we all have learned when Norma is determined to do something her stubbornness is going to prevail.

I’ve only appeared in our blog a handful of times over the past 19 years. That’s what makes this pic so cool (besides the adorable look on Alias’ face). If you look closely, you can see my reflection in Alias’ right pupil.

Kenta knows that in a few seconds, Norma is going to pounce on him. His defensive posture is to lay down. I’m not so sure that would work in nature.
 

Volunteer Work

These are the latest kittens I’m working to find a forever home for. They came from the same litter. An all black cat and a tuxedo cat. Diego-San and Theo would be so proud (although Diego-San would warn the black cat to be wary of his brother).

 

Mat Rolling

 Kenta has learned lots from his siblings over the years. One of the things he’s learned from Norma is to roll around in a mat. Norma squeals when she does it. Kenta just sort of squeaks.

Alias likes to show me things that I can’t do. I had to tell him this particular ability isn’t particularly one I want.
 

Hypnotizing Kenta

I told Kenta to look into my eyes and he would begin to feel very very sleepy. It worked.
 

Two Minds

Norma is trying to do a feline mind meld. All she’s picking up is Alias’ thinking, “what the bleep is Norma doing?”
 

Volunteer Work

I helped administer the adoption of two pairs of kittens to two good homes. All four kittens were from the same litter. I hope they all appreciate spending time together since day one as much as Alias and Norma have.
