Theo never gets into any trouble but just in case he ever does, he's practicing sitting in the penalty box.

Thompson apparently isn't afraid of sitting in front of the new house shark since the shark already has Theo in its belly.

Beach Boy

Thompson has never experienced the joy of laying out on a beach.  With all the dust in the carpet, this is as close as it gets.

I stumbled over Theo the other night and it took him a day before he forgave me- he would run away every time I got near.

When he gave me this look I knew the forgiveness was complete.

A Difficult Job

Proof positive that living with me can be rather exhausting.

The boyz wish their favorite pillow was available more often.

Prince

There are very few artists that I would call geniuses.  Prince was one of them. His musical talent and vision was astounding. He was by far the most charismatic performer I've ever seen in concert.  I was very saddened to hear of his death.

Thompson doesn't like the camera being so close to his face but he was too tired to move or protest.

Thompson swears he didn't leave all those surrounding paw prints.

Handycat

Theo did a little remodeling with his box. It used to have an entrance on top and he changed that to a side entrance. He's quite handy that way.

Choices

I thanked Diego-san for being understanding with the extra time I'm putting in with Thompson (continuing health issues) and for being more tolerant of Theo the last few months. This is the look he gave me. He apparently did not know he had any other choice.

Someplace Else

Story of Theo's life: he always seems like he wants to be somewhere other than where he currently is.  Come to think of it, that maybe the story of my life as well.

Big Day for Theo

Theo survived his annual visit to the vet.  He's doing fine, although the big news was he's lost close to two pounds in the past year (down to 10 pounds).  I cut back on the amount of food this past year because he seemed to be getting a tad chubby.  I guess I can loosen the restrictions which will be greatly appreciated by a boy who loves his meals. 

The most memorable part of his adventure was waiting out in the lobby with a very curious poodle who really really wanted to meet Theo.

The other memorable part was prior to our departure I fell asleep on the couch only to be awoken by the vet's office calling me notifying me were were late... Luckily we were still able to get in since I took the day off in part because of the appointment.  I chided Theo for not waking me up so we could be on time.

Taxes, Schmaxes

I was trying to explain to Diego-san why getting my taxes done has become priority number one.  He didn't seem to care.

Found Guilty

This looks serious.  I'm not sure I want to know what I did to provoke these looks.

Box Tail

Our latest box grew a tail overnight.

Not that they asked but it doesn't appear I'll be getting up and going anywhere soon.

Topsy Turvy

Apparently we turned off the gravity in the house.

Pillow Talk

Thompson is our house talker.  He loves to talk.  He also is the one who enjoys sitting on pillows most.  So news that Doris Day turned 92 the other day inspired this post...

A Wish

Theo's most pressing wish is that somehow his paws would magically taste like chicken.

Brainiac

Diego-san has decided to hang upside down because he heard that the blood flow to the brain improves brain function. He'll do anything to be an even better schemer than he already is.

Music Critics

I informed the boyz that I ordered a ukulele to add variety to my nightly musical sets. They are positively thrilled by the news.
