I was listening to the Beatles' "Abbey Road" LP. As we got to the glorious opening of the second side- George Harrison's 'Here Comes the Sun,' Theo issued a peep of disagreement.  He told me the sun's been here for all afternoon.

Mutually Agreed Upon Suffering

Theo and Thompson came to an agreement that since both of them can't use the hammock together that neither one would use it at all.  I didn't want to tell them that they might want to negotiate with Diego-san on the contract as well.

I bought Minnesota Timberwolves season tickets this year.  As a perk to get me to renew I was allowed to sit on the team bench during warmups last night.  Here is our best player, Ricky Rubio, practicing his jump shot.  It was all I could do to stop myself from going out there and shooting threes with him.

Paw Cleaning Demo

Thompson demonstrates the proper method of cleaning your lone front paw. He advises you to take notes because there are a lot of nuances, subtleties, and steps that can be missed if you aren't paying attention.

Some Background

Diego-san was named after the Mexican painter Diego Rivera. Rivera had a tumultuous relationship with Frida Kahlo. Once I saw this Kahlo painting I had to buy it since it features a black cat on her shoulder.  My Diego-san was kind enough to pose in front of the painting.

Steps

As it becomes more challenging for Thompson to move around, he has taken to spending more times resting on the stairs. One step at a time has become one step to rest on.

Eternal Optimist

Since the boyz didn't get much for Christmas this year, Theo is remaining optimistic that Santa will be showing up any day now.

Proper Spacing

The reason Thompson and Diego-san get along so well is both understand the proper amount of space needed to co-exist.  This isn't always the case with the not to be mentioned other boy in the house...

I've been learning a few different songs on my guitar that Frank Sinatra made famous ("Little Girl Blue," "The Girl Next Door," "I Would Be in Love Anyway," "Stay with Me.")  I think outside the noisy racket the nature of the songs is bumming the boyz out.  Too bad they can't drink whiskey.
