I told Theo he’s this close to becoming an internet sensation. He only had two questions. What’s the internet? and what’s a sensation?

Pride

Diego-San had a quick trip to the vet Saturday morning to get weighed. He hasn’t lost any more weight since his last visit about a month ago. And he was given a new acne medication for the pimple on his chin. His pride was probably hurt more than anything else.

Win Twins

The Twins are on the cusp of clinching a playoff spot. It’s been a fun and exciting year. They set the major league record for home runs in a season (although the Yankees just passed them... boo). So I was glad the boyz took interest in a key game yesterday against the second place Indians. Actually they were waiting for the TV to magically shut off alerting them lunch was going to be served.

Stranger

Back from my two day trip to Jersey. I don’t know if Theo recognizes me.

Princeton

Left for a short trip to Princeton, New Jersey. This is the last thing I saw when I closed my front door at home. This time, Diego-San didn’t become anxious when the suitcase appeared, probably because I packed at the last possible moment since I had little to pack. This time it was Theo who got clingy. I think he’s noticed that when I put extra food out, it means I won’t be home anytime soon.

I’ve got an incredibly difficult and busy week in front of me. Unfortunately, this trickles down to Theo because his routine is about to be severely altered...

Co-Exist

Thompson used to snuggle and nap with Diego-San. Thompson used to snuggle and nap with Theo. Diego-San and Theo have never snuggled and napped together. This is about as close as they get.

Touch

This is one of the things Diego-San is doing more and more often. When resting next to me he’ll put his paw either on my hand or my arm. I take it as a sign of affection.

First Impressions

When someone new meets Diego-San they inevitably comment on the size and floof of his tail. They also comment on his oversized paws, the size of a bear’s paw. I will note his fur is silky soft and he’s got a giant personality. But other than that he’s just your every day average cat.

Feet strategically placed, one flat, one angled. Tail laying in a manner to frame both feet. Impressive

Favorite Moments of the Day

Post breakfast snooze. His favorite time of day next to mid-morning, afternoon, mid-afternoon, early evening, late evening snoozes before bedtime.
