When Dreams Come True

He's dreaming on a nice soft mat to sleep on. When he wakes up he'll find he's slept on a nice soft mat. Sometimes dreams do come true.

A New Friend

Theo knows others in the house might be bunny kicking the big furry groundhog in front of him but he'd rather make friends with it. One can never have enough friends after all.

Hammock Malfunction

Theo seems to be having an issue with the hammock.

Weekend Plans

Thompson has big weekend plans. He plans to rest in his favorite cat tree for a while, then move to a spot on the sofa. Later on he'll sleep on his favorite spot on the bedroom carpet.

Guitar practice seems to be over and Diego-san thinks it's safe to open his eyes again...

Living with me is hard work.  Sometimes I just tire Thompson out.

Theo doesn't snuggle with me a lot but when he does he proves to be just as good a snuggler as his brothers.

Sticking Up for Theo

Translating an Old Saying

There's a saying that you can drown in a thimble full of water. Similarly Theo shows he can be deep in thought even though his depth might be paper thin.

Brian Wilson

I'm a big fan of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. I went and saw "Love and Mercy," the new biopic about him. There's a great scene in the movie about one of the crazy rumors attached to his life- that while he was suffering from a nervous breakdown he had his living room filled with sand so he could play piano as if on a beach. I told Theo about this and he was all for having a big litter box in our living room although he's not so fond of the big grand piano in the living room that sometimes gets played.

Life is Good

Nice little spot with a blanket and an open window. Some of us know how to live.

Being Cool When It's Hot

Theo chose our first 90 degree day to be my lil' snuggle boy. I guess my sweatiness wasn't a deterrent.

Cheers

Diego-san sometimes loves to grab a drink at the local watering hole where he can drown his sorrows away.

Shadows

Theo loves to do whatever it is Diego-san is doing even if it means just sitting around in the sun.  Diego-san isn't however, very fond of having an extra shadow.

It shouldn't surprised me because Thompson loves cardboard scratching products but he is the one who most enjoys are newest scratcher thingie. The fact the turntable moves meets his approval...

My Lil Pupil

I found myself the other day trying to explain to Theo why days are longer- not the total length- but the amount of time we have sunlight. I was talking about the Earth's tilt and proximity to the sun. I'm not sure he understood but he paid careful attention.

Close But One Cigar

I was picking up a bag of food for the boyz yesterday at the pet store. I decided to add a catnip cigar to my purchase since Theo has pretty much licked the stuffing out of all the boyz toys. It happened to be the free bag of food this time around (buy 10 bags get the 11th free) so the only cost I paid was the sales tax on the food, cigar, and a $5.00 donation for service dogs for vets. The total came to $14.00 which seemed kinda high but I didn't bother looking at the receipt until I got to  my car. 

I was a bit surprised to see the cigar cost $6.00.  I've never noticed the cost of catnip toys before because I always purchase them along with food purchases.  Six bucks seemed a tad pricy.  And for a moment there I thought about buying three cigars so when I got home each boy would have his own (knowing in the end all three would belong to Theo- our toy boy).

At the very least I hope the cigar was made in Cuba.

Mama's Boy

We don't know where Thompson's mom is, but if she knew how well her son turned out, I know she'd be pretty darn proud.

A New Month

Theo noticed he feels as hungry in June as he did in May.
