Many years ago when Theo joined Thompson and Diego-San, he tried hard to get his older brothers to accept him. Within a short few weeks after joining our house he began to have sneezing fits so I brought him into the vet. He was diagnosed with feline herpes, a respiratory virus. Sure enough Thompson soon got sick. He became very lethargic and sadly lost his voice (he was our talker). He would try and meow only no sound came out. Then Diego-San got sick. He too got lethargic and lost his appetite. Then Theo got sick again. And then Thompson got sick again. And then Diego-San got sick again. After round two (which took about a month), all three recovered. The same thing happened a few years later. Again, the virus went around twice and started with Theo having sneezing fits.
So when Theo began sneezing a couple of weeks ago, I was concerned about it being herpes again. Then Norma threw up consecutive days, the second she made a horrible shrieking noise as she was vomiting. And Saturday Alias began sneezing non stop. He sat most of the day with his mouth open. I was worried he was having trouble breathing and monitored him closely.
Alias and Norma comforted each other and took long naps together. Yesterday they seemed a little better.

Sending lots of purrs for all the cats to be OK.
Purrs, Julie
I am glad they are feeling better. If either keeps open mouth breathing, I would definitely go to the vet though.
Sending purrayers and Power of the Paw that all your kitties recover soon ! But a vet trip, if
possible, wouldn't be amiss.
