The engine of my Mini Cooper has been running hot so I brought it in to be looked at. Turns out I needed to replace the thermostat. Total repair cost (along with an oil change)- $400. I told the boyz we'd have to cut back on expenses for awhile- food, litter, stuff like that. They didn't put up much of a protest.
