Being a Trooper

Thompson had his annual visit to the vet. I thought about canceling because he gets so stressed out by the car ride. Sure enough as soon as I put him in the carrier he began howling and hissing at the top of his lungs. He continued to do this until the vet arrived in the examination room. Then he settled down some. He actually was a trooper on the way back home because we had to wait for the world's longest train to pass adding a good five to ten minutes to his car ride.

He continues to lose weight even though his appetite has been better the past month or so.

If Thompson's appetite is good, we purr he will at least maintain his weight and maybe gaib a bit.
We are not crazy about going to the Vet either. Our Vet is about 5 minutes away.

Thompson has been looking pretty good in his photos. Did vet want to run any tests regarding weight loss or have suggestions for weight gain? There are high fat, high calorie prescription canned foods. You might even just try Royal Canin Baby Cat canned and/or dry food for him. Adult cats usually love it, but if it is too rich for him, he could get diarrhea and that would be bad. I would buy a small amount and try it.
