I went to see the documentary 'Salinger' the other day. Like many males, J.D. Salinger's 'Catcher in the Rye,' really resonated with me when I was growing up. It confirmed my desire to become a writer. Now all these years later I get this vision of myself living up to the title of the book, but rather than children being saved maybe I should make an effort to prevent stray kitties from ever being hurt the way
