The clerk at the pet store said her cat loved the catnip carrot. When I got home, there was unanimous agreement with the clerk’s cat’s assessment.

Annual 2

Norma and Alias had their first annual physicals. I tried a different vet, a clinic I took Thompson to a couple of times to get a second opinion. This was a much better experience than Theo’s earlier in the week although poor Norma was clearly frightened and Alias bellowed in anger. Both checked out healthy.
 

Sun Bath

Just a lazy afternoon in the sun. Life is good (although a snack or two wouldn’t hurt).
 

Annual

Theo had his annual visit to the vet. Our neighborhood clinic got bought out by a national chain. I think we’re going to start going to another clinic. He came through it like a trooper though. He was really unhappy when I put him in the carrier to bring him there… And he must have gained some interesting smells because Alias and Norma spent the afternoon smelling him .
 

Snubbed

Alias: “Norma can you hear me? NORMA? Can you hear me? NORRRRMAAA!!!!”

Norma: Geez.
 

Subtitle Boy

Alias and I were watching a Japanese movie. Alias thought he had a hard enough time understanding me but the voices coming from the TV completely had him baffled.
 

Made Ya Look

Believe it or not, they are not looking at some goofy thing Norma is doing. She was in another room. I’m not sure what was fascinating enough to get both of their attention.
 

The Master

Alias and Norma tend to ignore Theo (although he’s been much more engaged with them recently on his end). They’d be wise to learn from their older brother. Tricks like throwing up in places he knows I’ll step in. These are essential tools for any cat.
 

Anniversary

One year ago today I first met Norma and Alias in their foster home. It was love at first sight…
