Super Bowl LII

Our city is hosting this year's Super Bowl. The Vikings' stadium is located in downtown Minneapolis. For those of us who frequent the downtown area, it is making it very difficult (and expensive) to do things. They're saying it's like having Black Friday for one and a half weeks. I would be perfectly happy if we never host another Super Bowl.

Snow Day

I had an unscheduled day off. We got 10 inches of snow between 1 p.m. Monday afternoon and 9 p.m. Monday night. I still planned on the white knuckled drive to work Tuesday, but cars got stuck on both ends of my alley making it impossible to get my car out onto the streets. The boyz enjoyed the sun (and hopefully my unexpected company).

Some of you might know I've played the sport curling for over ten years. It's something that Thompson and I kind of have in common because he likes to curl his toes.

Correlation

The more I'm away from the house the deeper the naps are on my chest when I am around.

Unstable Idiot

It's often rather cold in our house as the guy who pays the mortgage tries to scrimp and save every last penny. He also justifies it by reminding anyone who complains there are plenty of available blankets and comforters and that the other three housemates all have fur coats which he does not. The other three housemates just think the guy who pays the mortgage is cheap.

It may look like Diego-san is the guardian of dirty laundry, but actually that duty belongs to Theo. Theo loves to nap on piles of my dirty clothes.

Perched

This is a classic Theo move- sitting on top of his favorite cat tree and staring into space. He doesn't have a large repertoire of moves but the ones he does have in his bag he has certainly mastered.

2017 winner

As the 2017 winner of the "Boy Who Had the Most Pictures" Diego-san got to wear the lion's crown. I don't think he was too amused by the award.

Diego-san wanted to know why his number isn't even higher.

To be fair, I tend to always take more pictures of Diego-san because he's the hardest for me to get a good photo of. Theo's photos almost always are either amusing or capture his personality pretty well. I took a lot of photos of Thompson toward the end of the year when his health was declining.
