I've been re-watching the Ken Burns PBS documentary about jazz. I got to the episode that features Thelonious Monk- the jazz pianist who Theo was named after. It wasn't an intentional consideration, but looking at the two, I think there actually is a slight resemblance... I only picked the name because I liked "Thelonious" and I thought "Theo" was a nice shortening of the name...

How cool to be named after Monk. We think we might be named after Cliff Richards and Olivia Newton-John (we had our names when we got the humans, so we really don't know).
