Purr

For the first time ever, I heard Norma purr. She’s not a relaxed cat, almost always on edge and skittish. Even when she’s napping on me if I sneeze or sniffle she squeals. But yesterday as she was napping on me she was softly purring. We’re getting there…
 

Full Belly

Theo didn’t eat any of his breakfast or lunch and I forgot to put his bowl away so either Alias and/or Norma got two extra meals. I suspect it may have been Alias since he spent much of the afternoon barely moving…

Stretches

Norma gets a lot of her best stretching done during her naps.

Yesterday, our state was included with others in our area that was under an ‘excessive heat’ warning. It was hot and muggy even with our air conditioner running. Alias melted into a puddle. 
 

Wildlife

Norma is reporting back what she saw in our backyard. Unfortunately I can’t translate cat talk and don’t know if she’s saying “bunnies,” “chipmunks,” or “squirrels.”
