Under the Bed

The weekend was all about finding different places to take a nap.
 

Bonding

Alias is doing his best to bond with his brother. And it melts my heart. Theo still spends most of the day by himself, but he clearly has accepted his brother more than his sister (who is more squirrelly and skeptical). There’s definitely a shared love of sun puddles... 
 

Sprung

We’re all still waiting for spring to truly arrive. Even those who have never lived through a spring before.
 

Brothers

Theo skipped his meal last night. He’s been doing that more and more. He was lying very still next to me when Alias decided he would cheer his brother up by plopping himself on Theo. Theo yelped but Alias soon got his wish- Theo’s full attention (and tongue bath).
 

Spotlight

When the spotlight shines, Norma knows exactly what to do (look very cute).

Up to Date

Alias wants everyone to know all of us in the household are up to date with our vaccinations. Human and feline.
 

Undercover

Norma loves to slip under my covers and then she tries to paw my face and bite my chin. I don’t especially enjoy this. For all his life, Diego-San loved to slip under the covers and nap right next to me, head resting on my arm or shoulder. It was like having a purring heating pad next to me. The past two nights Norma has done the same. I’m hoping this becomes a lifelong thing...
 

Minnesota

It snowed yesterday. Alias is still wet behind the ears but he knows enough to know it’s not supposed to be summer like one day winter again the next.
 

Theo’s Trick

Theo pulled off his stand by the food guy’s feet without the food guy realizing he was there and when the food guy tries to avoid stepping on Theo, the food guy kicks himself really hard in the shin, trick.
 

Our Weekend

They kept a close eye(s) on me over the weekend...
 

Stars

My neighbors have young children and as the family walks by my house, the kids have noticed Norma and Alias sitting in the window. The kids always stop and point at them. The two are becoming neighborhood stars.
 

Intrigue

Norma was intrigued by her first thunderstorm. Theo was intrigued with his sister being intrigued by her first thunderstorm.
 

Ultra Relaxation

Norma is a far more frequent back napper but the times Alias does it, he turns into jelly, a boneless cat. Theo on the other paw, has never spent a moment on his back. 

We Still in Minnesota?

It’s been summer like the past few days, so much so that I turned on the air conditioner yesterday afternoon. Theo is stunned by this development.
