Stay at Home
Our governor’s stay at home executive order officially went into effect at midnight. The boyz are stuck with me pretty much 24/7 until at least April 10. Lucky them.

The View
My home office is on my dining room table where there’s a window I can look out. Of course the boyz new favorite place to be is on the dining room table looking out the window. Birds of a feather...

Proboscis Friend
Diego-San got tired of me ignoring him during the day so he went and found a new friend. (His new friend has a very large nose.)

David Savings Time
When I switched jobs a little over a year ago my commute time went from 40 minutes in the morning, and an hour and a half in the afternoon to ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes in the afternoon. I’m not quite sure what I’ve done with all that extra time. Now I’m sleeping later in the morning and have no commute time. Theo’s internal clock is still discombobulated...

The New Normal
I’m not sure how long the new normal will go on, I’m not sure I want the boyz to get too used to it. But I do know we are going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Back to Normal (for the Weekend)
The hardest thing about this past week was being home with the boyz but having to ignore them while trying to do my work. This is new behavior- my being around and ignoring them for long stretches of time. I plan to make it up to them this weekend...

Tuxedo Break
This is Theo’s ‘I know I’m supposed to leave you alone while you are working but I need to sit in your lap’ look. Pretty much works every time.

The Boss
Diego-San made it clear that even though I’m now “working” at home, he’s still in charge here. I told him there never was a doubt.

Home Office Day One
I have to teach the boyz that while I love to hear their opinions on things, when I’m on a work conference call (like I was most of yesterday), others in the office might not care what they think. Ssshhhh...

World Gone Wild
We officially sent nearly everybody in the office home to work remotely for an indefinite amount of time. The boyz and I are going to be spending a lot of time together for the foreseeable future. It looks like Diego-San is already planning his escape.

My Buddy
I’ve been home sick the past couple of days (and given what’s going on in the world this is more than a little concerning). Diego-San has been wonderful. Cuddly, A constant companion and a purring heating pad. In other words he’s been Diego-San.

Theo’s Joke
“Diego-San walks into a bar and sez give me a whiskey and a....... cola.”
The bartender says, ‘why the big pause?’
Diego-San shrugs. “I don’t know I was born with them.”

Paw Talk
Diego-San is strongly suggesting you talk to the paw. And if you want to know what the paw will reply, it’s likely a WHAP will be included.

Jazz Feets
Theo was happy with our spring like weather yesterday. It was warm enough to open the windows for a bit. But I’m keeping in mind March and April typically are our snowiest months.

DST
Diego-San thinks of all the silly things I do, living by a clock and calendar is the silliest of all. He thinks it’s time that I start living by Diego-san’s savings time. The day begins when he swats me in the face and ends when he cuddles next to me at night. As far as the calendar? Every day is Diego-San Day.

DST
I told Diego-San we are going to pretend Daylight Savings Time began today rather than next week. That way we’ll be an hour up on everyone when it actually occurs next week. He thought that was my stupidest idea yet.
