We sleep on the second level of our house. The other night there was a severe weather watch for our area with the potential of hail and strong winds. The storm was supposed to arrive after midnight. I told Diego-san it was his responsibility to wake me up if the civil defense siren sounded. I guess he decided he needed to rest up to make sure he was up for the duty.
