Love Hate
I noticed Diego-San had quite a few mats around his stomach area. So I spent extended time trying to remove them. Diego-San spent extended time trying to bite my hand.
I recommend cutting the mat in half or so and then you can usually comb them out. As a cat gets older, they are less efficient or concerned about grooming so they need more help. I have started to take my cats to a groomer (just for cats) 2 or 3 times a year. Let me know if you'd like more info. Groomers recommend combing rather than brushing. :-)
You need a furminator.
