Diego-San had a rough day. I dropped an empty coffee cup (a metal travel mug) on his head while he was eating lunch. He ran away and hid of course. But all was forgiven come dinner time. He even snuggled with me as I watched evening TV.

When the motor finally runs down, even Theo can be groggy.

Winter Storm Advisory

We have a winter storm advisory over the weekend. Sounds like an awful mixture of rain, freezing rain, and snow. I have a feeling I know where Diego-San will be hunkered down much of the weekend.

Got back from Denver after midnight. Diego-San moseyed on downstairs to see who it was. Theo was nowhere in sight. I guess? they are glad I’m home...

New Management

While I’m off gallivanting from Minneapolis to Washington DC to Denver, the boyz are just fine with their new food server.

DC Bound

The suitcase made its final appearance of the year. Usually, Diego-San is the one that lets me know he doesn’t like what happens when the suitcase appears. This time it was Theo who was most vocal about it. I told them both that my preference was to stay at home with them but if they wanted meals to continue to be served, someone had to earn some money...

The boyz mutually decided that me sleeping until 9 a.m. on a Sunday was unacceptable. So they teamed up to do everything they could to wake me up and get me out of bed.

Bag Boyz

This was a first. Diego-San usually lets Theo do the bag inspection work (it’s one of the things that Theo does that Diego-San feels is beneath dignified feline behavior). But he found this particular bag inspection worthy. I tried to get photographic evidence but he climbed out right as I was pointing the camera at him. Moments later, Theo climbed in the bag but he too started to get out when the camera was aimed his way...

We could get another foot of snow between today and tomorrow. I told Theo I’m already tired of winter. He’s concerned how I’ll be when I find out we’re likely going to get many more feets of snow between now and May.

We got our forecasted ton of snow. Theo is thankful I didn’t throw my back out shoveling because I was able to come back in the house and feed him.

My Mystery Life

I’ve been driving all over the state this past week. Given how much the boyz hate car rides, I keep thinking that they have no clue that I have taken such long rides. I show up back home in time for dinner so as far as they are concerned my day to day routine is the same as always.

Bali

It snowed yesterday and it’s supposed to be temperatures in the single digits the first part of this week. I told Theo it’s time for us to move to Bali. He indicated he’s fine with that as long as it doesn’t involve a car ride and as long as there’s plenty of food.

Three Days

We have a three day weekend. One of us sorely needs a three day weekend. The other two? Probably think the other one is negligent in delivering more three day weekends.

B-Day

It’s the food guy’s birthday. Theo is celebrating by asking for a treat.
