The 4th

It's our country's Independence Day. While Diego-san understands there are limits on his own independence (there are house rules that he just ignores for example), he certainly has a freer existence than many other kitties in this world.  And while his preference probably would be to live in a home where the servant was 100 percent devoted to him rather than having divided attention among other kitties, Diego-san is willing to live with that because of the regularly scheduled guaranteed free food and general good nature of the servant.  At least there isn't a fourth kitty in the mix (as had been the talk a few years back).
