I had an air conditioner/furnace fixer guy out yesterday. What had happened was the filter was so clogged that it got sucked into the blower. I immediately blamed the boyz for all the fur that likely was the main culprit but sheepishly I had to admit I hadn't changed the filter since the end of winter.
So I've assigned Theo the task of making sure the filter is changed more often.
We did struggle through a couple of warm and muggy nights and none of the boyz seemed to appreciate the living conditions giving me their best 'hey idiot the house is hot- time to do something about it' look. I had to tell them the story of their predecessor the late great Mr. Max having to live most of his life without central air. Back then we got by with a window A/C and a few fans. Poor Mr. Max (who spent many a hot summer day resting behind a fan which likely was the warmest place in the house).
We have 13 cats so we have to change our central a/c filter often.
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask if you had changed the filter, but...
ReplyDeleteWith cats you want to use top quality filters and change them 2 or 3 times as often as directed. Let your furnace/AC breathe! :-)
Well, thank cod it's fixed now. :)
ReplyDeleteWhew!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it's fixed.
That's all that matters ;)
