On a hot summer night it's important that right as the household bedtime is about to start that you claim a spot right in the middle of the bed and you sprawl out as big as possible so anyone else who thinks he's going to sleep in the bed has to go elsewhere...
AND heat up the bed so it's too toasty for the humans!
