Warming Up

This is actually progress in the relationship between Diego-san and Theo. Diego actually tolerated Theo sitting next to him for five minutes before he decided his personal space was being invaded, turned and faced Theo and then went somewhere else.

Handsome Napper

Theo loves to wake Diego-san from a nap by licking him on the forehead. Diego-san doesn't much appreciate this and usually this act of brotherly attention ends up in a high speed chase. The chase then ends up with Diego-san whapping Theo on the head and hissing at him. I can't say I blame Theo too much though. Looking at how peaceful Diego-san looks when he's napping, I almost want to lick him on the forehead...

Christmas in June

I was putting away a brand new bag of the boyz's food. I hit the bag on the corner of the closet I store the food in and the bag tore with food flying everywhere. Theo was there in a matter of seconds followed soon by Diego-san. This unexpected treat was quickly getting gorged down. Thompson didn't appear until I was nearly finished cleaning up but I felt bad he hadn't gotten to enjoy the catostrophe so I fed him an extra meal while trying to fend off the other two...

Spectator Sports

Baseball isn't Thompson's game. He prefers to look out the window or watch my reactions to the baseball game instead.

Duck and Cover

The tornado sirens sounded the other night and Thompson decided that the safest thing to do was to take a nap in his tunnel.

I encourage the boyz to go to our basement in bad weather especially when I'm not home. Unfortunately they tend to go upstairs instead. I guess that's where they feel safest because that's where we all sleep at night...

Summer?

The first days of summer came and went and we really couldn't tell by the cool damp weather... Diego didn't care though. There were plenty of squirrels and rabbits to keep an eye on.

Theo was worried after seeing yesterday's post... He's worried that I'll change the focus of the blog from he and his brothers' antics and write about my love of flowers instead. I told him he really didn't need to worry. Really.

This is the time of year when my peonies bloom. They don't last very long usually losing their petals after a week or so. I'm not much of a flower guy but I always love when my peonies bloom. I love the color...

That'd Be a No

My summer hairdo every year for the past ten years or so is a shaved head. It feels cool, and I like not having to worry about my always goofy hair. I do need to shave my head every night and last night Diego-san watched me quite intently. I asked him if he would like to try the shaved look and this was the glare he gave me. I took his answer to be a no.

Looking After a Brother

Diego-san isn't feeling well. He was much more lethargic than normal yesterday and did quite a bit of sneezing. I asked Theo to leave Diego alone but of course all Theo wanted to do was hang around his older brother. He did surprise me however... not once did he try and pounce on the sleeping Diego-san.
