I know just what you mean. I can ignore a catbed or blanket for months, but if it gets moved it's suddenly good again!

Diego is the top cat in your household. That is what top cats do ;-)
You move a little used cat tree from one room to another and Diego-san immediately claims it as his own. Go figure.
