My HVAC Boy

So I was sitting in my living room watching TV minding my own business when I heard a noise coming from the basement that sounded like someone was working on my heating, air conditioning and duct work. Since I knew I hadn't called a repairperson I immediately had a suspect in mind. I checked in my bedroom and sure enough Thompson was sitting peacefully looking out his favorite window and Theo was looking mindlessly off into space perched on his favorite chair. Diego-san? Nowhere in sight.

I ran downstairs calling his name thinking to myself he had somehow gotten trapped inside the duct work. My basement was semi-finished (framed and sheet rocked) last summer so most of the furnace and duct work is not nearly as accessible as it used to be. I peered behind the furnace but could only hear Diego not see him. I scolded him and told him to come on out. A minute later he appeared above on the framing to where a bathroom will go if I ever do finish off the basement.

I have no idea what he was up to, what he got himself into. Further I have no idea, how Diego-san, the boy who gets into everything got himself up to an area above my head but without anywhere I can think of that's easily accessible by a leaping kitty.

  2. The ways of cats cannot be understood by humans :-)

Pumuckl recently discovered the back opening of the stove (didn't know it has one even and also don't know why Egyptian stoves have this...). He likes to go through it and sits inside the stove then, which is more than dangerous as he cannot been seen. So before starting cooking I now always have to look where Pumuckl is, if I cannot find him there will be no cooking.

  4. Toby was actually on the New Britain roster until right before the end of spring training. And while he has hit substantially better this year than he has in the past, he really has no business being in AA. Revere was moved to low A Beloit. Nice for him.

  6. Ah, the ways of a feline is too deep for human understanding. Just finish that bathroom, will you?
