Brother and Sister

Norma and Theo are still figuring out their relationship. Unlike Alias who has tried hard to bond with his older brother, Norma is a little bit more apprehensive (as she typically tends to be). Theo likes to clean her and she’s not sure what to make of that even though she lets Alias do the same thing. She loves to step on him while he’s napping inside my laundry bag. This has led to some hissing. I’m sure they’ll figure it out. Then again my brother and sister never did...

Bought a new toy that has a plastic mouse that darts around the circle at different speeds. I was pleasantly surprised that Theo took the lead in playing with it. He spends most days sleeping or watching his siblings’ crazy energy so it was nice to see him show some playfulness...

MLK Day

Three day weekend to celebrate MLK Day. Theo and I will honor one of the most important leaders in my lifetime especially given the recent violence in our country. Theo’s such a calming peaceful soul so I’ve appreciated him more than ever the past few weeks.

Queen of the Post

This was Diego-san’s favorite scratching post. During the many years he used it, he never once tried to climb to the top. Since day one both Norma and Alias have tried to scale it. Norma was finally the first to reach the top.
