We could get another foot of snow between today and tomorrow. I told Theo I’m already tired of winter. He’s concerned how I’ll be when I find out we’re likely going to get many more feets of snow between now and May.

We got our forecasted ton of snow. Theo is thankful I didn’t throw my back out shoveling because I was able to come back in the house and feed him.

It’s a three day work week. It’s time to makeup my missed time with the boyz the past few weeks.

My Mystery Life

I’ve been driving all over the state this past week. Given how much the boyz hate car rides, I keep thinking that they have no clue that I have taken such long rides. I show up back home in time for dinner so as far as they are concerned my day to day routine is the same as always.

Big Dreams

Theo wants to climb a mountain. He’s starting small though, he’s practicing by climbing into my lap.

I don’t know if it’s an age thing or a sign of a difficult winter to come, but Diego-san’s coat has never been thicker. It also could be a result of the cheap food guy who keeps the house temperature at arctic like levels.

Bali

It snowed yesterday and it’s supposed to be temperatures in the single digits the first part of this week. I told Theo it’s time for us to move to Bali. He indicated he’s fine with that as long as it doesn’t involve a car ride and as long as there’s plenty of food.

Three Days

We have a three day weekend. One of us sorely needs a three day weekend. The other two? Probably think the other one is negligent in delivering more three day weekends.

B-Day

It’s the food guy’s birthday. Theo is celebrating by asking for a treat.

Da Boyz

Previously, I found an online company that makes 3-D frames so I had one made in memory of Thompson. I really liked how it turned out. I figured he’d want to be near his brothers so this past week I had one made from a picture of Theo and Diego-san. It arrived yesterday... Da boyz.

Sweet Boy

I forgot to mention but when Theo visited the vet last week to get his pee tested he had an empty bladder so I had to leave him there for the morning. (I wonder how they got the pee? In an empty litter box? A needle? I didn’t want to ask.) The vet tech who returned him to me said, “He’s the sweetest cat ever!!!" I don’t disagree. He loves to rub up against people and purr away... Sweet, sweet Theo.

Hours Apart

Diego-San was not a happy boy yesterday morning when his internal clock told him it was time for breakfast but my alarm clock told me I had another hour to sleep. Many head butts ensued.

They Got This

I had a presentation to give at a venue three and a half hours away from my house. I stayed at a hotel near the venue Thursday night (Halloween). The boyz seemed to have handled the trick or treaters that stopped by.

Theo Update

Got Theo’s urine test results back. There were no abnormalities other than the vet said it was a little dilute which could indicate kidney issues. She wasn’t too worried about it though. I’ve been a little worried since he is missing the litter box. The vet said this often is a sign of something physical since he is trying to do the correct thing.

I went to clean the litter box today and saw some liquid outside the box. Upon further inspection, it contained chunks of chicken so obviously Diego-San had urped up a meal. I muttered I was glad it was vomit and not urine. That’s probably the first time that has ever been muttered in the history of feline kind.
