He used to take Sunday naps with Thompson. Now he’s taking Sunday naps with his own shadow. It’s not nearly the same...

Went to Jenny Lewis’ concert last night (fabulous). Have a Timberwolves basketball game tonight, a Twins baseball game tomorrow afternoon and a Timberwolves basketball game Monday night. I don’t think the boyz are going to be very happy with my absences.

Sprung

Spring is definitely in the air... I got my scooter out. It might be warm enough today to crack the windows open for a bit. Theo is keeping his eye out for the spring chicken.

My Fault

I have a confession... I think I may have made Theo sick. I’ve been using a candle that burns a fragrant oil. I think this is what caused him to sneeze so much. I feel really bad for my little buddy. I’ve stopped using the candle and his sneezing has gone way down... He and I do send heartfelt thanks to all who send positive thoughts his way...

Schedule Change

I belong to a fantasy baseball league and we had our draft yesterday. It took all afternoon into the early evening, meaning my Sunday nap with Diego-San didn’t happen. He was not a happy camper. It didn’t matter that my team’s name is the Cats Meow.

Bless You

Theo’s been sneezing a lot the past two days. He’s due for his annual physical so a trip to the vet is in the cards...

Water Meter Expert

The city notified me that my water meter, located in my basement and read electronically, no longer was working. So a repair person had to come out to replace the meter. Diego-San made sure he supervised all her work. He was quite vocal during her entire visit.

Not Impressed

I got to introduce the governor of our state at a rally. Theo wanted to know if any food was served at the event. There wasn’t. He lost all interest in the rest of my story.

Time to Learn

During the Timberwolves’ halftime show they had frisbee catching dogs. I told the boyz they need to learn how to do this so they can perform for people too.

His head fits perfectly in the crook of my arm. Not quite as perfectly as it fit snuggling next to Thompson, but we’re making due as best we can...

The Wolf Pack

Diego-San and Theo have not used one of Thompson’s favorite resting places, a cat tree top by a window that was usually open during the summer. Being a Minnesota Timberwolves season ticket holder, I collected these guys and gals during various giveaway games this season. And they are appreciating Thompson’s spot. I think Thompson would be OK with that.

Spring?

The forecast calls for 40 degree weather mid-week. That may not sound warm to many, but to us it sounds downright balmy. Theo celebrated by urping up his breakfast yesterday (he probably ate way too fast after not getting fed his dinner the night before).

I Lied

The snowstorm did impact Diego-San and Theo. I had a ticket to the Timberwolves basketball game downtown Minneapolis so rather than worry about how I was going to get home in all the snow, I decided to pay for a hotel room downtown. It has a spectacular view... And it didn’t snow as much as they said it would, but rather a lot of it came down as rain. The boyz were on their own for the night though.

Enough Already

We’re supposed to get another foot of snow today. Diego-San doesn’t care because it really doesn’t affect him. However the scowl on his face is exactly how I feel...

When I left my former employer, they gave me an Amazon gift card. I used it to purchase an Amazon Echo. Theo is curious about this strange Alexa I’ve been talking to.

Miffed

Flew to Louisville Sunday afternoon (and boy are my arms tired). Flew back home last night. Since it was a one day trip I didn’t use my suitcase but packed everything in my knapsack instead. This didn’t fool Diego-San. He let me know he was not pleased through meows that grew louder and louder. He sat right next to me in doing so however.
