A Question

So during his nightly combing session I've tried to get Diego-san to lay on our new mat to better contain the flying fur.  He refuses to stay on the mat or even start the session on the mat until I physically move him.  Of course he's more than willing to use the mat at all other times.  Who is running our house?

Head of Household

Diego-san is not allowing me to watch The Late Show with David Letterman as punishment for abandoning him to go to New York City. Theo isn't sure why I'm allowing his brother to misbehave.

Picturesque

After having spring like weather much of the past couple of weeks we got some snow Sunday night.  Parts of the Twin Cities got around 10 inches but in our area we only got an inch or two.  The thing about spring snowstorms is they tend to make things look really lovely even though snow is the last thing I want at this time of year...

When I was in New York I made it a point to visit Iron Chef Morimoto's restaurant that was a couple of miles from my hotel.  It was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had- blackened cod fish served in an artistic fashion...

Back

I'm back from my 2015 vacation.  I flew to New York City to see a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman. I've been a fan of Dave's ever since his guest appearances on the Tonight Show 35 years ago.  I wanted to see him live before he retires in May and my sister's friend who works for CBS was kind enough to get me a ticket.  In a word it was awesome.

I enjoyed my two day visit to NYC.  Of the major cities I've been to it probably ranks below London, Tokyo, and Toronto but still, the energy and diversity of the city was enjoyable.  My first day there I thought to myself, "I should move here for a few years."  But after getting naively trapped in the heart of Times Square during the St. Patrick Day's parade I had second thoughts.  I'm not sure how the boyz would feel about such a big adventure...

Theo isn't quite sure what it means especially related to meals but he did see me pull a suitcase out of the closet...

Dual Sided, Duo Used

I bought a new dual sided mat for the boyz.  This side is supposed to be warm and the flipside is a smooth cool fabric meant for summer days.  Diego-san was of course the first to claim the mat as his own but Thompson got the last laugh- he slept on the mat all night.
