Preparing to Imbibe

Technically

One of the nice things about living in Minnesota is we usually are able to celebrate a white Christmas.  This year not so much.  This was the only pile of snow left in our yard on Christmas morning.  Kinda made for a blah day.  I guess technically though it was a white Christmas. Of course two days later we got five inches of snow. 

Good Ol Thompson

2014 was not a good year for Thompson. He had noticeably less energy. At one point he stopped getting up except for meals and litter box time. This eventually led to a trip to the vet where nothing was discovered.  He's been drinking a lot more water. This led to another trip to the vet to be tested for kidney issues and/or diabetes.  Again nothing was discovered. Recently he's been eating less and less. I fear another trip to the vet is in his near future.

I hope my little buddy feels better in 2015.

Theo's Question

It's been a good fifteen minutes since the last meal time.  The next meal is right around the corner, right?

Diego-san is waiting for me to light the ring on fire for him to leap through.

Mr. Versatility

Thompson appreciates Theo's versatility.  The other day he used Theo as a pillow.  Today he's using Theo as an ottoman.

Brotherly Love

Thompson seems to be checking Theo's heart. Theo heart Thompson.

Thompson finds the gurgling sound of my stomach to be quite comforting.

I don't think I'll be getting up anytime soon.

Based on the look on Theo's face and his proximity to Thompson's posterior, I'm guessing Thompson might have tooted.

Attention Please

We'll give you three guesses what has caught the boyz attention. Your first two guesses can't be "Theo spazzing out."

Just So You Know

"Ferocious" is Theo's middle name (well actually it's Dribble, but you don't need to know that). He demonstrates his ferociousness by displaying the claw of death.

A Catnap

This is what is called a "catnap." In our house one has to grab a few minutes of rest whenever one can in between bursts of guitar noise and little brothers pouncing on you. Peaceful moments are to be cherished.

For some of us if something is worth doing it's worth doing all in and not halfheartedly.  For Thompson one of these things is sleeping. No one sleeps harder in our house.

Re-evaluating His Position

Theo thinks this is the choice spot to be in the house. He wonders if he is right why no one is fighting him for the spot.

What'd Up Wid Dat?

We finally finished our holiday card. Theo and Thompson are pictured twice. Diego-san once.  I have some 'xplainin' to do...

Xmas Concern

He has the same concern every year but Theo doesn't see any way Santa can fit down our chimney.

Get In Line

Theo claimed the spot where the dirty laundry occupied just moments before.  I think he's hoping he's in line to be fluffed and folded.

Contrarian

Diego-san is nothing if not a contrarian.  So when I tell him he's one of the coolest guys I've ever met he responds by becoming a square.  He's the squarest cool cat ever.

Lil Bears

It looks to me like the boyz have gone into hibernation.  Maybe this means I don't have to buy any more food until spring.

Reading Thompson

In Thompson language a sign of contentment is when your foot goes above your head.  It's like a raised flag of happiness.

Story Time

Diego-san is reading a book from my iPad to Thompson. I just hope it's not an instructional manual on how to get rid of pesky little brothers.
