Theo clearly seeks the approval of his two older brothers.  That's likely not to happen as Diego-san seems to look at him in disdain for being too playful and seeking affection too obviously.  These for Diego-san are un-cat like, and un-manly like (grow up already Diego glares). Still I wouldn't trade Theo's personality for any other in the world.  He's goofy but he's our goofy.

I finally managed to clean out my home office over the weekend.  The boyz questioned since 98 percent of the rest of the house is a mess, why I even bothered cleaning out one room.

Our New Morning Routine Part 2

At first, Theo wasn't quite sure what to do about a slight variation in our new morning routine. Because I was holding my phone, I couldn't tap my shoulder or hold my arms open to catch him.  At first he walked away but when he came back he decided he was OK with the change...

Two's a Crowd

What I didn't mention yesterday that prior to Theo staking claim for a new bonding time with me, that time was previously reserved by Diego-san who liked to sit in my lap while I was eating my breakfast.  Problem was since I wasn't paying Diego-san ALL the attention, he quickly got bored and would hop down from my lap. Now he comes over to sit in my lap and will find Theo there instead.  As is often the case in our house, it's a first come, first serve situation.

Our New Routine

Theo and I now have a new bonding time together.  He has taken to hopping up on my lap when I'm eating my breakfast (or at least trying to).  I love the routine- he'll sit next to my chair, kind of rocking back and forth on his hind legs. His eyes big as saucers meet mine.  I'll tap my shoulder to indicate I'll catch him if he jumps and after some hesitation he'll jump up into my arms.  No wonder leaving for work just got a little harder.

The past week brought some dreary weather to our parts.  It just felt like winter is well on its way.  The days of open windows and fresh breezes may be a memory soon...
